Dear Fellow FDIAI
Members:
First I
would like to say how well the conference was this year. We had
a great attendance and everyone I talked to thoroughly enjoyed
it. This year I was fortunate enough to be elected as historian
and when I was given the documents to keep and record I took a
moment to browse them until a time was available in the future
for more of an in-depth study. I was thrilled in just those few
minutes of reading to see the rich history of the FDIAI in all
the newsletters and pictures present. The great scientific
articles, lasting words of wisdom and encouragement from the
past presidents, and the overall involvement and commitment to
excellence from members was great to see. It was decided to put
some of the articles on our website to help facilitate education
and research. The years that will be available are from 1995 to
2002 with more additions coming periodically. If you have any
suggestions or comments please feel free to contact me at

the association’s dedication to forensic science, training, and
