Digital Imaging Supervisor

Salary: $37,339 - $55,554

Position Description Under the general supervision of the Manager of the

Forensic Science Section, performs supervisory administrative and technical

work in the supervision of Forensic Imaging Technologists. Duties are

accomplished with a degree of independence and at a level of authority and responsibility where the member must exercise good judgment and individual initiative in the

performance of assigned duties. A variety of clerical, statistical and

equipment maintenance tasks are monitored in connection with the position.

Examples of Duties

Supervises, directs and coordinates members concerning the various imaging

lab functions and administrative activities.

Performs technical, administrative and supervisory functions as directed or

assigned to fulfill the required service mission of the Forensic Science

Section.

Maintains lab equipment and orders supplies.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED and a minimum of two (2) years experience in crime

scene investigation to include videotaping, photography and film

development. A minimum of 2 years experience in digital imaging to include

web based management of film and digital images or equivalent technical

schooling or college courses. Experience in the operation and maintenance of

photographic and digital imaging equipment. Must possess a valid State of

Florida driver's license.
